“Wheep!” the noise echoed loudly, and was soon joined by a gleeful chorus. Bones and shrapnel were still scattered across the ground, remnants of a child’s doll lay in threads… but everything was going to be ok; the very first dandelion leaf had sprouted through the rubble.
